Classic Vanilla Cupcakes
Soft, fluffy cupcakes that are easy to decorate and serve.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a cupcake tray with liners.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light.
- Add oil, milk, and vanilla essence; mix well.
- Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture.
- Fold gently until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners halfway.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving or decorating.
