Homemade Chicken Soup
A soothing soup that’s perfect for cold evenings or when you need comfort food.
Ingredients
- 500 grams chicken (bone-in preferred)
- 6 cups water
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 small carrot, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Method
- Add chicken, water, onion, and carrot to a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25–30 minutes.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Simmer for 5 more minutes and serve hot.
